Happy Holidays! ・メリークリスマス

December 12th was the last day at the Hillsboro Winter Market. It was SO cold , but everyone there was in a good spirit. There was a great group of vendors. We entertained each other and traded items when the customer traffic was slow :-) I even learned how to crochet a pretty scarf, thanks to a woman who sells beautiful jewelries. I enjoyed a variety of musicians, too, although I felt bad that their fingers were probably frozen in the bitter cold... First pic shows the Christmas cookies my kids made yesterday. Cookie making is a lot like pottery :-) The other pics shows some of the new stuff I made for the market. It was a great year for Tohki-ya. I've met new customers and sales has at least tripled compared to last year (well... I didn't sell a whole a lot last year). I hope next year will be even more exciting! 12月12日は今年最後のヒルズボロマーケットでした。　とても寒かったのですが、皆とても元気で良い感じで一年の締めくくりができました。　出店している皆が仲良くなって、お客さんの流れがのんびりの時にはおしゃべりしたり、物々交換をして楽しく過ごしました。　アクセサリーを売っている女性からは可愛いマフラーの編み方まで教わってしまいました　（’ｖ’）　寒さでギターを弾く手がかじかんでしまって可愛そうだったけど、いろんなミュージシャンの演奏を聴くのも楽しかったな～。　最初の写真は子供達が作ったクリスマスクッキーです。　クッキー作りは陶芸とちょっと似ているような気がする。　あとの3枚はマーケットのためにこの冬作ったものです。　今年は陶器屋にとってとても良い1年でした。　多分、去年と比べると売り上げが3倍以上にはなってます（とは言っても、去年はたいして売り上げがなかったんだけどね）。　来年はもっとエキサイティングな年になるといいな。　皆様に楽しいクリスマスと良いお年が来ることを願っています。
