May schedule ・ 5月のスケジュール

Here is my schedule for May. I am excited I will be participating two new markets! I hope to see you there :-)
-Every Saturday ( May 7, 14, 21, 28th) from 8am to 1:30pm
Art Court located right next to the Beaverton Farmers Market
-Sunday, May 22nd, 11am to 7pm

in the heart of the downtown Kenton commercial district on N. Denver Avenue between N. Schofield & N. Willis

The picture shows yarn bowls and a vase. A few customers requested yarn bowls during the Holiday markets last year. I had been experimenting with them, and finally came up with the shape I liked. On the vase, I used a new watercolor glaze except for carved area, where I left it unglazed after applying stain. It's always fun to experiment :-) Currently, I'm working on a special order of 6 pair of tea cups. I hope I can incorporate the inspirations I got at the Ceramic Showcase... 5月のスケジュールはこちらです。　2つの新しいマーケットに出店することになり、楽しみです！　皆様とお会いできることを楽しみにしています。

・毎週土曜日（5月7・14・21・28日）午前8時から午後1時半、ビーバートン・ファーマーズマーケット隣のアート・コート

・5月22日、日曜日、午前11時から午後7時、ケントン・ストリートフェアー

写真は毛糸玉ボウルと花瓶です。　去年のクリスマスセールの際にお客様から毛糸玉ボウルへのリクエストがあり、いくつか試作し試行錯誤の後、やっとのことで気に入った形ができました♪　花瓶の彫りが入った部分にはステインを塗って釉をかけずそのままの風合いを残し、それ以外の部分には新色の水彩風釉をかけてみました。　今は特別注文のお湯のみ6ペアに取り組んでいます。　先週末のセラミック・ショーケースで得たインスピレーションを生かしていけたらいいな～。　詳しくは次回に書きます。
