June market schedule

It's been so much fun to be back at the market!  It's so nice to see customers returning to my booth, telling me how they have been enjoying their yarn bowls or mugs :-)  Yay!
The picture shows wonderful pieces created by my dear friend and her daughter: Squirrel cup (left) and pinch bowls (right).  The squirrel cup has a tail on the back which works as a handle.  How cute!  Now the weather is nicer, it's time to play with clay!

2014 market season starts!

It is always exciting to start the market season!  I've been trying to come up with a new item every year, and my new item of 2014 is... (drum roll),  Jewelry Bowl!  I have had a few requests from customers, and I had been thinking about making them.  I will have them at the market this month :-)

Rice bowls ・ おちゃわん

These rice bowls are for a special order, which I received ... over 8 months ago...  Like I mentioned before, my new year resolution is "No more long wait for special customers with special orders!"  I will keep my words.
特別注文のためのお茶碗です。　しかし、このご注文はなんと、８ヶ月以上前にお受けしたもの。。。　先日も誓いましたが、今年は、”特別注文のお客様をお待たせしない！”　がんばります。

Happy New Year 2014! and my new year's resolution

 Happy New Year!  I usually take a break after Christmas until February, but this year, I already started working.  The reason is because... I realized I had not made a few special order items...  I admit.  I am terrible about making special orders in timely manner...  The picture shows special order nesting bowls.  Mrs. E had ordered them two years ago... Another item I just made was ordered 6 months ago...  So, my new year's resolution for 2014 is, " No more long wait for my special customers with special orders!"  I will do better this year.  Mrs. E, I am so sorry for the delay, and thank you so much for being so understanding.  Hugs.

December schedule & Hooray,100 sales made on Etsy!!

I started my Etsy store in January this year.  It's been a wonderful learning experience and so exciting at the same time.  My yarn bowls and mugs have traveled so many states in the US :-)  As of yesterday, my sales reached 100, and it's growing!  My goal for next year is to start oversea shipping.

The canister and the utensil holder (on the right) were special order items for a very special customer.  I am using more of this "Incredible Black" glaze now after receiving several request from customers :-)  I also make mugs in this color.
