One more opportunity for Christmas shopping in Vancouver!

I had signed up for Vancouver Fall Market for the rest of the season.  It is located at 8th & Esther in Downtown Vancouver, from 9am to 2pm.  There will be three more Saturdays left ( December 5, 12, and 19th).  All the indoor holidays shows are canceled this year..., but I am so happy that Vancouver Farmers Market was able to provide the opportunity for customers to finish up Christmas shopping safely outdoor.  Vendors are placed with plenty of social distancing :-)  See you there!

This holiday season...

This is going to be a very different holiday season for many of us.  All the holiday bazaar/markets are canceled this year due to COVID.  It is sad... but it is more important for us to stay safe and get through this difficult time for the better outcome next year.

I am still making pottery!  There are two ways for customers to purchase my pieces.

Some of my items (bigger items) are available on my Etsy shop at:

https://www.etsy.com/shop/TohkiyaPottery

Also, for the local customers, I have a small shop set up in my studio (aka garage), and you can see my items in person (by appointment only).  Please send me messages on Etsy, or email me at: mami_yamada@hotmail.com, to make an appointment.  Only serious inquiry, please.

I also make these Star Wars guys :-)  If you are interested in purchasing them, please let me know in advance, so I can start making them.  They sell out quickly.
Please stay safe and take care.    Air hugs

Market Season starts... Finally!

Finally, I am starting to show at the local markets!  Very happy to be out and see my vendor friends and wonderful customers!  Here is my June schedule:
June 6, 13, and 20th - Hillsboro Downtown Farmers Market ( 9am to 1pm)
155 N 1st Ave, Hillsboro, OR, at a parking lot near Public Service Building

To minimize in-person cash exchange and credit card transaction, you can pre-order/pre-pay using an app, WhatsGood.  You can sign up at: http://sourcewhatsgood.com.  You can see awesome products from other vendors, too.
If using this app is not your thing, you can still shop like usual.  I have hand sanitizer and/or disposable gloves at my booth, if you like.

It is a challenging time for everyone, and safety is the number one priority.  Our market manager has been working hard to create safe environment for everyone.  There is more space between each booth, and vendors wear face masks.  I won't be able to shake hands but I would be smiling under my face mask :-)  Hope to see you there!

Staying home for now... Preparing for 2020 Market season

Just like many of us, I have been staying home this spring.  Both markets I participate ( Beaverton Art Court and Orenco Farmers Market) only have vendors who sell essential items at this point.  They are hoping to welcome art and craft vendors soon.  Meanwhile, I am building up my inventory :-)  Hopefully, I can see my market friends later this summer.
If you are looking for gift for someone, and would like to see my pottery, some pieces are available on my online Etsy shop:  www.etsy.com/shop/tohkiyapottery.
Or, email me at mami_yamada@hotmail.com, if you like to purchase pieces at my studio.
Looking forward to being at markets soon!  Please be safe out there!
